Our Business Development team are seeking a commercially savvy and innovative Assistant Category Manager to join their cosmetics team. You'll put your category management skills to work helping in the execution of L’Oréal’s cosmetic category strategy across all CPD channels.

About the role

·         Develop credible category relationships with internal stakeholder such as our sales and marketing teams, delivering valuable insights to help shape their growth plans and customer relationships

·         Provide advanced analytical data and insights to support marketing and sales functions on innovation decisions, portfolio management, sell in and launch platforms     

·         Develop an intimate knowledge of the competitive landscape and develop and deliver actionable recommendations and plans

·         Support the Senior Category Manager throughout range review process including analysis, presentations and range/space evaluations (JDA exposure a plus)

 

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have sound category management experience within a FMCG environment. A natural collaborator with a strong analytical mind-set you will be able to influence those around you to drive category growth. Possessing strong communication skills you will be able to assimilate quickly into a highly regarded category team and with internal stakeholders and immerse yourself in the dynamic cosmetics category.  Your commercial approach will set you apart as will your conviction and resilience.
