This role will be required to monitor retail performance to ensure financial and sales goals are achieved and develop strategies to further the growth of the retail boutiques business in Hong Kong and Macau market.


  • Business performance analysis including but not limited to retail KPIs, sales productivity analysis, profitability analysis, clientele analysis (eg. Tourist/Local mix), retail staff productivity and cost analysis, assess ROI for events and promotions including consumptions of testers and gifts, etc. 

  • Review sales performance regularly; project and effectively communicate variances to plan/LY, risks and opportunities to Brand/Division management and ManCom.

  • Establish mid-term plan/retail road map with brands/divisions

  • Share best practices in retail KPIs and operation processes

  • Review and analyze boutiques profitability, including cost analysis on Capex and controllable Opex

  • Work with division controllers for their sales forecast and boutique budget

  • Investment analysis for new openings, renovation, relocation and pop-up stores, including working with Business Development team for location evaluation and post investment review

  • Establish lost prevention policy and procedure, regular KPI monitoring and work with IC, treasury, supply chain and any other internal functions to ensure compliance (special focus on Cash, Inventory and Indirect material management)

  • Implementation of Retail Playbook/Retail Handbook guidelines

  • Ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of various business initiatives from time to time



  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and performance driven

  • Strong commercial acumen, ability to analyze business processes and make suggestion for improvement

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

  • Ability to deal with complexity and assertive to drive changes and new ideas

  • Excellent organization and problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and other reporting tools


  • University degree or equivalent

  • Over 10 years’ experience in Finance, Business Analysis or Controlling with at least 5 years in the Retail industry

  • Previous experience in audit, process control or lost prevention added advantage

  • MNC experience, familiar with matrix organization with multiple stakeholder

  • Fluent English and Chinese (Written & Oral)
