ABOUT THE JOB
The Brand Communications Manager leads L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty’s communications strategy, showcasing how our brands, La Roche-Posay, CeraVe and SkinCeuticals, pioneer health and beauty with life changing and sustainable dermatological solutions to all. The role supports our brands’ position and reputation by driving earned media, executing impactful events, and delivering engaging content across our communication channels (earned and owned).
• Build the image of each L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty’s brand, develop visibility and reinforce locally its reputation over time
• Build and implement a 360° external communication strategy in line with the international brand communication strategies and the local business strategy
• Develop a communication plan for each of the brands in L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, validated by the Brand GM/Marketing Director
• Implement integrated communication campaigns on major product launches and brand events
• Manage media relations, including new media relations
• Build a media-map: identify the relevant key-players for the brand
• Manage spokespeople, key opinion leaders and ambassadors
• Collaborate closely with our LDB Scientific Communications Managers to reinforce our brands scientific legitimacy and reputation.
• Develop the corporate positioning and visibility of the brands locally by develop local brand cause partnerships and campaigns in line with the international strategies
• Build an internal communication plan in line with the external plan – to develop the brand images internally
• Work closely with the Brand Engagement Manager, LDB New Zealand
• Identify issues related to the brand and anticipate crisis. Engage our Corporate Affairs team where needed to manage crisis.
• Manage the Department’s PR budget


ABOUT YOU
• You have around 3-5 years of end-to-end experience in driving communications and social marketing strategies ideally within an FMCG/beauty industry
• You will have previous experience in a similar role within the beauty , dermatological or pharmaceutical industry
• You must have proven success in managing A&P budgets with ROI delivery & sales outcomes from campaigns initiated.
• You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment but also can autonomously and proactively execute your communication strategy
• You will have previous experience in dealing with media agencies and briefings
• You will be an excellent communicator to engage and deal with various internal and external stakeholders
• You must be self-motivated & driven to be able to drive your own results and manage your time efficiently
