What are key highlights of this role?

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Fragrance Education who will be responsible for delivering the education and engagement strategy for the brands, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute an exceptional experience across both physical and the rapidly accelerated digital learning environment.

Reporting into the Fragrance Retail & Education Director, they will pioneer new collaborative ways of working between the brands and other tribes, and will be a key part of achieving the business units’ strategic goals. You will have genuine excitement and passion for our brands, luxury retail and exceptional customer experiences to ensure we are winning together.

Beauty Advisor has evolved and will continue to evolve with changing customer expectations and shopping habits.

What are the key responsibilities?

Highlights of the role:

  • Create and develop the Fragrance education strategy with the Retail & Education Director to drive results.
  • Coach and develop the Senior Education Manager and Education Manager to confidently execute the learning strategies within the retail field teams. Managing your teams through consistent mentoring, feedback and coaching.
  • Lead the planning and development of the training modules/tools/materials to support and execute the Fragrance portfolio training program with your team.
  • Ability to liaise with international Global education teams to align with Education expenditure. Ensure training and engagement initiatives are delivered within budget and on time.

  • You will confidently build retailer relationships and partnerships in order to build strategy in line with marketing and commercial teams.

·       You will be the go to expert of Fragrance and Education, conducting research and recommend new ways/improvements to delivering training and education and keep up to date with latest trends in education.

  • Develop Digital, online and social education strategy, leading the innovation in digital engagement. Oversee and manage the brand community pages / any digital tools/apps.
  • Analyse the need for trainings to be adapted/changed or new modules created based on the needs of the business from a product performance point of view as well as commercial and service drivers.
  • Have a passion for your people – as part of a growing portfolio, you will develop the Education team to coach the  Fragrance Beauty Advisors with a focus on evolving a best in class service proposition and commercial skill sets.
  • Manage and track the BA journey in brand, including all trainings, inductions and engagement.
  • Through  in store visits of the Education team, provide detailed feedback to Fragrance Retail & Education Director on what’s working and solutions for areas requiring improvement. Identify and react to retail opportunities and challenges to maximize results.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Brand Educators from other tribes to ensure category expertise and experience is consistent in all tribes.
  • Work in partnership with other functions (Marketing, Retail, PR, and others) to deliver brand strategy and objectives.
  • Be a One Luxe ambassador and advocate of collaboration and agility
  • Foster and strengthen retailer relationships and mange retailer initiatives
  • Drive the engagement and knowledge of retailer / non-statutory Fragrance Beauty Advisors to maximize sales and service opportunities.

    • Support in education to drive understanding and the collection of CRM and VIP data
    • Provide proactive feedback to internal departments to help drive collaboration between brands & tribes.
    • Champion simplicity through ways of working with brands and field teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous sales and team management experience, ideally within beauty industry
  • Previous training and education experience, ideally within the beauty industry at a senior level
  • Exceptional training and coaching skills
  • Experience and understanding of effective sales techniques, customer service and proven ability to drive results
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong capability on Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Outlook Highly organized by nature and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Professional, supportive with a positive attitude
