What you will do:

The Manager of Facilities & General Services supports all operations of the L'Oréal USA Hudson Yards Headquarters campus, including floor maintenance, cleaning, security, life safety, dining services, employee requests, budgets, and capital.  Reports to the AVP of General Services and partners closely with the team and employees.

What you will do:

·        Coordinates activities necessary for the upkeep/maintenance and proper functioning of building facilities equipment and the smooth operation of all facility services (time, quality, costs, service providers).

·        Liaises with cleaning supervisor on matters relating to cleaning/facility upkeep; conducts daily walk-throughs to ensure scheduled work is being performed.

·        Ensures safety of people and property in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

·        Implements EHS team guidance and works with team to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.

·        Issues Purchase Orders and Capital Expenditure Requests in accordance with internal control policies, confirms and processes vendor invoices for payment, managing OpEx and CapEx; initiates new vendor workflows.

·        Partners closely with Finance and AP to monitor facility spend, schedules against budgets/plans and keep AVP advised of any anticipated variances.

·        Contributes to and executes sustainability initiatives within the site to meet L'Oréal’s local and global goals.

·        Maintains WISP floorplan system in partnership with Human Resources, adding new employees, vacating, reserving, managing unassigned seats, and running reports as needed.

·        Liaises with building management regarding rent bills.

·        Assists in coordinating/facilitating special events and activities such as Flu Shots, Blood Drives

·        Other duties, projects and responsibilities as directed by the AVP or Corporate Facilities Management.

 

What We Are Looking For: 

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Minimum 3 years of facilities/general services experience within a highly professional corporate environment

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience required

·        Excellent background in managing budgets, POs/CERs, invoice processing and vendor relations

·        Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders

·        A singular focus on supporting the needs of the business—strategically, operationally, and culturally

·        Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels

·        Attention to both operational and aesthetic details within a corporate facility.

·        Excellent skills in leading/influencing teams

·        communicates, and influences effectively and actively networks at all levels

Additional Benefits Information 

Salary Range: $98,000 - $137,000(The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
