What You Will Do:

 

As the Systems & Technical Manager you will support our automated distribution center in Walton, KY. You will have responsibility over both the site’s maintenance team and also the site’s technical systems. We count on you to be the site’s liaison with external parties with respect to IT projects and initiatives. Within the site, you will be the site’s subject matter expert on IT projects, maintenance excellence, and systems project management.

 

  • Manage and Supervise Maintenance team
  • Maintain spare parts inventory for site automation
  • Work with Cimcorp and L’Oréal IT on upgrades to the systems/site – bug fixes, general maintenance, and continuous improvement items
  • Technical expert and resource for operators during downtime events
    • Work with Cimcorp/maintenance to troubleshoot issues
    • Liaison between Cimcorp/Walton and L’Oréal IT to troubleshoot issues
  • Schedule and execute PMs with maintenance team and Cimcorp
  • Experience with work order management systems (Net Facilities a plus)
  • Manage site’s capital projects through all stages of project management cycle.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for downtime events and automation/systems failures.
  • Put forth measures to accurately and sufficiently track issues that result in downtime events and systems issues.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, identifying, and rectifying mechanical and electrical issues within automated distribution center.
  • Cater systemic solutions and improvement to align with the needs of the business.
  • Work with operations team to improve distribution center processes from a systems, automation, and technology perspective.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience
  • Previous experience managing teams preferred.
  •  Preferred - Proficiency in MS Office, SQL, BI Tools (Cognos, Tableau)
  • SAP Experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing Plant/ Distribution Center Experience preferred.
  • WMS Experience (Manhattan WMOS) preferred.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems
