What You Will Do:

The Senior Manager, Community Management - a creator content expert - will be tasked with setting the L’Oréal LUXE community management strategy across our LUXE portfolio of brands. The candidate will be a true people leader and act as the functional expert on this topic to ensure that the community managers in each brand have the tools and strategic guidance to allow for accelerated growth of core communities through earned content and on owned social platforms.  

Job Duties and Accountabilities

·         Lead the management and execution of the ongoing community strategy for the LUXE division and animate the group of community managers positioned in the LUXE brands 

·         Develop playbooks and toolkits leveraging best practices that help widen the reach and increase engagement across brands’ social channels

·         Coordinate with Marketing, PR, CRM, Ecomm and Customer Relations teams (L’Oréal Le Care) to develop and execute effective strategies that foster community growth and loyalty

·         Be the resident expert on industry and cultural trends to align social and digital strategy with broader marketing and partnership initiatives

·         Lead the crafting of creative briefs and inspiration to prompt new ideas and thinking of how to engage with our current and future community

·         Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings

·         Track performance in real time and drive weekly/monthly Real Time Optimization calls with the brand community managers

·         Develop community/fan group strategies and activations to help continuously drive authentic relationships

·         Ensure brand community managers have the proper brand voice for which to apply when working within the communities

·         Help identify key activations with other like-minded brands to develop and execute cross-promotional tactics on social media (giveaways, collabs, etc)

·         Regularly track, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns, content, and overall sentiment analysis

·         Ensure brands are growing the US A&I Market share by ensuring they generate sustained partnerships by identifying core community members and pulling them into the advocacy and influence funnel for brand.

This individual is observant, clever, and has something additive to say that is going to get people to click the "like" button. This individual is closely in-tune with the overall social conversation, and can quickly identify trends, and engagement opportunities for the brands to take part.

The individual must possess the ability to pivot quickly as this function is in constant evolution and the landscape is changing by the minute.  This person must bring a collaborative mentality to the Advocacy & Influence space with a mindset of team success in all activations throughout the organization. 

This individual is excited to dig into the data and identify learnings and insights that will help the greater division and its brands develop new creative content strategies, formats, and ways of reaching audiences.

This individual has strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, often-changing environment. This individual is also a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Influencer Marketing, Community Management and Social Media
  • Passion for beauty, trends, social media, and storytelling
  • Luxury and/or beauty experience preferred
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to work well with a network
  • Experience in community building and influencer campaign management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Must demonstrate flawless attention to details, be a team player, multi-tasker, creative thinker
  • Proven writing skills (technical and creative)
  • Strong analytic skills in assessing ROI for impact of efforts
