What You Will Do: 

As the Sourcing Senior Manager for the Advocacy + Influencer and PR category, you will be responsible for supporting the strategy for your designated categories in line with the Business Stakeholder priorities (estimated spend of $60 M). You will manage all aspects of strategic sourcing including stakeholder management, continuous cost and performance improvement, and market innovation.  

  • Develop strong relationships with your key stakeholders, with a goal to be recognized as a valued partner and influence business decisions.  
  • In partnership with stakeholders, define the US sourcing strategies   
  • Translate and prioritize global/ regional strategies for your market  
  • Proactively exchange US specific needs to help influence global/ regional initiatives  
  • Lead a broad range of commercial and business contract negotiations working closely with L’Oreal’s legal counsel and Business Stakeholders.  
  • Manage/consolidate category spend analytics and Financial reporting  
  • Manage a strong Supplier Partnership program with your category partners.  

 

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Ability lead cross functional teams and influence decision  
  • Strong project management, negotiation and analytical skills.  
  • Autonomous with high level of drive and energy  
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills  
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, category expertise, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred  
  • 6+ years’ experience strategic sourcing and category management   
  • High degree of analytical skills. 
  • High Level of engagement, Self-Driven individual with strong communication skills and ability to influence in a matrix organization.  
  • Ability to bring the team together through conveying a clear vision and positive can-do attitude. 
  • Exceptional computer Skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Power BI. 
  • SAP knowledge 
  • Legally eligible to work in the US on an ongoing and permanent basis without sponsorship.
