A great opportunity for a tenured leader to develop a fast-growing customer centric team. You should be a highly passionate and experienced in customer data (Online + Offline), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), marketing technology, e-commerce, media and be skilled in building, managing, and influencing cross functional teams. You will own the Data Driven Experiences program for SalonCentric. The program mission is to use data and technology to create personalized relevant marketing and connected customer experiences for SalonCentric and our portfolio of brands. 

 

In this strategy role, you will drive the evolution of customer strategy by creating our NextGen program roadmap. You will manager insights-sharing forums across marketing, ecommerce, paid media and CRM to improve the number of active and loyal customers. You will influence the teams to drive tech adoption and utilization of data to build robust marketing plans. To be successful, you are well versed in driving large scale strategy while pushing innovation and collaboration. You can consistently influence multiple levels of leadership, customer experience and brand strategy teams as well as maximizing agency and vendor partnerships. Your key performance metrics are incremental sales, leveraging data to optimize marketing mix, increasing acquisition, repeat & retention rates, data enrichment, digital adoption, personalization at scale and driving omnichannel traffic. 

 

In this leadership capacity, you will have a dynamic team consisting of the business leads for Strategy + CRM, MarTech and Data Science, Digital Customer Analytics. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee, and iterate NextGen Data Driven Experiences Program strategy throughout the organization.
  • Serve as a Data Driven Experience business intelligence leader, utilizing analytics to drive customer-centric marketing strategies and plans throughout the customer journey.
  • Blend digital and brand marketing principles to deliver enhanced solutions and/or new recommendations to build the customer experience while maximizing incremental sales and marketing channel attribution.
  • Lead creation of customer marketing brand governance with ongoing development and refinement to optimize customer communications (including email, app, SMS, direct mail, site, and media) for SalonCentric and brand key initiatives.
  • Manage external agency and multiple vendor relationships as related to Customer Strategy Development, Omni Digital experience (site, CRM, media), Marketing Technology, and Data Management.
  • Represent as SalonCentric Data Driven Experiences Lead on/at Global, L'Oréal USA CDMO, and PPD CDO leadership committees and events.
  • Liaise with CDMO tech Product Owner and Digital IT to collaborate on product releases, timelines, and priority consolidation as well as QA as needed.
  • Oversee the development and ongoing distribution and presentation of Omni Digital reporting, and business insights across organization.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Data Model standards, as well as criteria and approval governance for adjustments to/or deviations from the standards.
  • Partner with Legal and the Data Governance Council to seek approval for use cases, and ensure proper controls are in place where use cases are approved as needed.
  • Be the expert across SalonCentric for all data-related questions and stay up to date on US policies, regulations and innovations in the industry that effect our business.
  • Partner directly with media and platform/site teams to drive development of personalized, omni-digital programs, campaigns, and overall experience.

 

Things You’re Skilled In:

  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, CRM, data strategy, digital marketing, data driven marketing or retail marketing strategy and execution.
  • Multi-function, mid-size team management experience is required.
  • Experience liaising between business and technology stakeholders required.
  • Beauty experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce ecosystems and processes that include end-to-end data flows.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and focused on projects from developing the vision and strategy to executing and evaluating the results.
  • Executive Presence to interact and present to all levels of the organization, including strategic committee members.
  • Ability to think strategically and create a bigger picture vision for ethical and standardized data collection and execution, while evangelizing that vision across the portfolio of brands.
