POSITION SUMMARY

The AVP, Integrated Brand Marketing for skinbetter science is a key member of the SVP of Marketing’s leadership team and is responsible for overall Marketing campaigns and brand alignment for optimized cross-channel execution, ensuring high levels of campaign effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, the AVP will oversee master brand building projects as necessary.

This leader will work in partnership with marketing channel owners to build out content strategy, campaigns and connected stories, designed to strengthen the brand’s unique medical, luxury positioning and the highly integrated business model and relationships that have enabled skinbetter’s growth and market differentiation.

The AVP will lead campaign strategy, planning and execution, creating and driving synchronized campaigns to skinbetter’s key audiences - professional sales team, Authorized Physician Partners (APP), aestheticians, existing patients and potential consumers. 

This leader will develop and lead a quarterly marketing planning cadence and marketing playbook, and drive the adoption of common marketing processes, language and quality standards.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Leadership

  • Develop and consolidate overall annual marketing roadmap in partnership with SVP, Marketing and other marketing leaders to ensure activation of key differentiating brand strategies and messages across Medical and Consumer channels.
  • Drive marketing excellence efforts to provide operational processes, marketing policies and action plan to maximize the return on marketing investment
  • Lead cross-functional campaign teams, budgets and schedules, maintaining a collaborative work environment, interacting with teams throughout campaign phases
  • Cross-functional teams may include Medical Relations, Sales, Education, Medical Affairs, Digital Marketing, Professional Marketing, New Product Planning
  • Create and execute key integrated marketing campaigns to support company objectives
  • Leverage data, insights, and field and customer feedback to inform strategies and guide the planning, development and execution of integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, consumer leads, and/or customer retention
  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to develop themes that support a point of view and educate APPs and consumers to drive critical behaviors
  • Define campaign objectives, target audiences, and strategies to identity the optimum marketing mix of assets, events, and media
  • Define and plan highly targeted, integrated programs by leveraging all marketing channels (sales team, APP resources, website, email, social media, PR, events, webinars, other) that drive qualified new business and grow existing (B2B and B2c)
  • Ensure all campaigns and marketing programs are flawlessly executed, highly effective, and completed on time and on budget
  • Lead the development of required content for campaign deliverables through internal subject matter experts and channel owners, with internal, freelance or agency resources
  • Plan, develop and execute measurable and scalable marketing programs with relevant KPIs, that achieve stated objectives across key audiences
  • Develop and publish a campaign calendar to facilitate planning, manage workloads, and eliminate conflicts

Brand Building

  • Oversee efforts to update US brand guidelines and other master brand materials as necessary.
  • Act as brand guardian within US Commercial team: ensure internal alignment on brand standards, guidelines, and values.

Experience

  • Requires 10+ years of experience as a proven Brand Marketing leader in developing and implementing successful B2B and/or B2C campaigns
  • Strong and significant product marketing and product launch experience needed.
  • Experience in beauty, skincare or healthcare desired.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role, managing a team of direct reports and internal and external resources
  • Expert knowledge of integrated marketing principles and practices; knowledge and experience in two or more marketing and/or communications disciplines or domains
  • Demonstrated track record developing and implementing insights-driven marketing campaigns that drive business outcomes
  • Strong branding and messaging experience required
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, collaborate, and lead cross-functionally
  • Exceptional writing skills for developing effective and crisp campaign messaging

Additional Benefits Information as Follows:

Salary Range: $145,300 - $207,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
