I am the AVP for Talent Management and I am the champion of developing and retaining the future Marketers for L'USA. I am responsible for ensuring a strong pipeline (size, potential and readiness to contribute as a leader). The program I lead is known in other companies as a Management Trainee program (called Pepiniere at L’Oreal- French for Tree farm). I am the HR generalist for the Marketing trainees, and I lead their onboarding experience over 12 months- from their conversion from internship to full time employee Year 1, Year 2 and beyond. As a natural consequence I also support Internal Mobility efforts for Directors and below to promote cross divisional mobility.
In parallel I implement the vision of the Group to develop a cohort spirit of Management Trainee across functions. I work hand-in hand with the HRBPs, line managers, and program managers of other functional Management Trainee programs at L'USA to build a holistic 'One L'USA MT' experience. I also build proximity with my Global Management Trainee partners (France, China, UKI, LATAM) to benchmark best practices and create a Global Management Trainee Network and Community.
I am also entrusted with the development of a Manager in the team. I am accountable to develop their strategic thinking on the program. I empower them to lead the execution of the generalist responsibilities- supervising compliance accuracy and timeliness.
