The Accounts Payable department has a very important role to play in the organisation by ensuring that all payments to suppliers (both Intergroup and Non-Group) are made in an accurate and timely manner. As a team we process over 90,000 invoices per annum and we are continually striving for improvements in processes and efficiency.

What are key highlights of this role?


This is a development opportunity for a motivated individual with a good level of attention to detail.

Ideally we would like the candidate to be working towards /or have the desire to complete a professional qualification such as AAT/ACCA/ACA.


More specifically, the candidate would manage a set range of suppliers in terms of invoice processing, query resolution and process improvements. They would work within a framework of invoice processing that ensures we are adhering to strict internal controls whilst being compliant with the payment terms we provide to our suppliers. In addition, the candidate would be required to actively contribute to improving our invoice processing by applying systems knowledge to invoicing.

Required qualifications/experience:

  • Studying/Planning on studying towards a relevant qualification such as AAT/ACCA/AAT
  • High level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Diligent and hard working
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good technological, systems knowledge
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Good communications skills both written and verbal
  • Great team player with positive and enthusiastic approach
