Position Summary:

SalonCentric is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Financial Analyst to support the Retail Stores Channel. This position will be focused on accounting, analysis and reporting. Candidate must have a great sense of professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills. SalonCentric is a fast-paced environment with numerous opportunities to learn and be challenged.

Position Responsibilities:

• Firm understanding of expense management
• Assist in the development of the annual budget and forecasting process
• Manage Advertising, Promotions and Labor budgets
• Participate in the month-end close process and be responsible for Journal Entries
• Create and run reports and maintain existing models
• Perform variance analysis for select P&L accounts and cost centers
• Provide financial support to operating departments
• Special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
• Maintain strong internal controls
• Strong team player

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Financial modeling / planning experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and business forecasting tools
• SAP experience preferred
• Retail experience a plus
• Experience with PowerBI, SQL and Visual Basic a plus
• Must have long-term authorization to work in the U.S
