 What You Will Learn:

The Assistant Manager, Amazon Media is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Amazon Search and Display (DSP) activation strategy to help accelerate LUXE sales and business growth on Amazon. This role is hands-on-keyboard for campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding, using Amazon's Advertising platforms (AMS, DSP) and third-party tools (i.e. Skai). 

This role is dedicated to select LUXE Brand(s), is well integrated and will closely collaborate with the Amazon Retail and Brand teams to implement strategies and execute campaigns, as well as optimize based on key brand KPIs and recap on performance.

 

Job Duties and Accountabilities

  • Build and execute display, video, and sponsored ads that effectively recruit, engage, retain brand shoppers, and expose targeting insights and opportunities. All search and DSP campaigns are managed hands-on-keyboard via the Amazon Advertising portals or third-party tools i.e. Skai
  • Ensures Amazon campaigns are managed effectively to achieve expected performance targets and execute optimizations including identifying search terms and keyword bid management
  • Manage the spend pacing, daily budget, bidding, dynamic settings (i.e. dayparting, placement adjustments etc.) and reallocation between ads to maximize the investment impact
  • Potentially test new beta opportunities and deepen reporting insights
  • Create media investment and performance reports to be presented to brand leadership
  • Stay abreast with beauty market, category performance, competitors, and keyword trends
  • Attention to detail: ensures quality and flawless execution in campaign setup and management
  • Team work/collaboration: a team player and can work collaboratively with counterparts and across the division
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: demonstrates ownership of their goals and responsibilities and treats the business like their own
  • Innovates and agility: treats things with a sense of urgency, can bring creative ideas to the table
  • Data driven: has advanced excel skills to efficiently and accurately report and use data to drive and support media strategy

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience building and executing paid campaigns (Amazon is a plus)
  • Experience with analytics and attribution platforms, and using data to create informed reports with key learnings and actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging new marketing platforms and technologies
  • Advanced in Excel and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced “hands-on-keyboard” experience using biddable media across platforms (Amazon is a plus)
  • Superb communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate solid experience in pulling, mining, and synthesizing data into stories
  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability
