Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the Carol’s Daughter & Softsheen Carson team with development of retail strategies across traditional retail chain accounts, e-commerce and beauty & barber stores.  Will play a key role as liaison between marketing and field sales in driving strategy.

Main Tasks:

Analytical Leader 

  • Own sales reporting leveraging PowerBI and Nielsen 
  • Consumption trend analysis based on Nielsen data
  • Run and analyze weekly and monthly shipment reports 
  • Develop and Maintain New Item Tracking document
  • Partner with field sales staff and marketing team members to understand data and analytical needs, understand scope of role and how it fits into the overall strategy of the organization

Marketing Sales Liaison

  • Daily interaction with marketing ops team
  • Go-to for field sales on selling materials and supplemental needs
  • Communicate necessary materials to field, including go to market & launch materials
  • Ad / Promotion performance analysis
  • Competitive activity analysis based on promotional activity

Team Contributor

  • Supports BBD lead on all fundamental analysis required with understanding of Business KPI’s
  • Drive the business as key member, by collaborating with multifunctional team and leveraging all insights to drive brand growth. 
  • Maintains all reporting needed to run the business.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business analysis role
  • Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
  • Highly organized with excellent planning ability and strong attention to detail
  • Computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (strong emphasis on Excel) and database management
