Provide Human Resources generalist support to the L’Oréal organization with a focus on recruitment, employee relations and operations support. Administers various human resources programs and procedures for all local represented and non-represented personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations concerning employment.
-Administers and communicates various human resources programs for plant personnel in alignment with overall business goals and objectives while working with local human resources team to ensure consistency.
-Recommends policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services provided.
-Serves as point person for employee inquiries and concerns.
-Leads recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees including placing ads, coordinating and participating in assessments / interviews and conducting new-hire orientation.
-Participates in employee training, career development and succession planning initiatives.
-Oversees coaching / discipline processes while supporting management and employees.
-Maintains departmental and employee records and reports, analyzing information and identifying trends.
-Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
-A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' Human Resources experience OR a master's degree in Human Resources Management and three (3) years’ experience in the HR field.
-Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) is a plus
-Experience manufacturing or distribution center environment
