Job Title Assistant Manager II, Talent Development

What You Will Learn:

The Assistant Manager, Talent Development provides direction, tools and resources to HR Business Partners and People Managers on best practices in people and career development.  As part of the Talent Development team, you will support building the vision, direction, storytelling and content co-creation for HRBPS, leaders and employees to build a meaningful career at L’Oréal.  This position requires an individual capable of making decisions in ambiguous situations, thoughtful judgement, and composure in a dynamic fast paced and changing environment.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Support the roll-out of organization-wide talent practices, including All Players, Potential, career planning, calibration and assessment tools, and talent reviews/succession planning process to build a culture of internal mobility and talent pipeline for the future
  • Collaborate with HRBP, PDL and internal stakeholders on building our end-to-end talent development processes to animate career experiences and equip employees to navigate their career
  • Manage FIT Program including the nomination process, internal branding and communications, events coordination, and serve as point of contact for employees
  • Promote and co-create communications plans for big Talent Development initiatives to engage and inspire employees
  • Create templates and best practices for HR, people managers and employees to build meaningful careers  
  • Continuously provide insight on employee experience and feedback to create a culture of internal mobility, inclusivity, engagement and satisfaction
  • Serve as Talent Development contact for HRBPs and Talent Services as needed on topics such as CAROL data and reporting
  • Support Management Trainee Program as needed with onboarding, assessment centers, upskilling, and coordination of moments that matter
  • Work in close partnership with People Development & Learning team to identity, create and deploy programs and resources to build skills of the future
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in HR Generalist or HR related field
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment
  • High proficiency in integrated systems such as One Profile, CAROL, and People Analytics
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite experience including presentation building skills and Excel skills to derive data driven insights
