The Assistant Manager/Manager of Ecommerce Site Experience
is urbandecay.com’s digital evangelist. You love being online and don’t just consume web content-- you also think deeply about usability and the customer experience. In this role, you are responsible for leading optimization of our ecommerce site, keeping abreast of the latest platform releases and strategizing ways to make the best use of features and enhancements, with a focus on driving engagement and overall business goals. You will work interdepartmentally, partnering with the global e-commerce team, L’Oreal HQ, digital IT support, vendor/partners, and US Marketing to build a best in class onsite experience.
Key Job Scope:
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure optimal customer experience before, during, and after purchase
• Consistently identify areas of opportunity for improvement, proposing hypotheses, implementing AB tests and providing analysis and insights to optimize new customer growth and retention
• Partner with US Marketing team to identify friction points in their customer journey/conversion funnels and co-develop optimization strategy
• Keep current with latest usability standards in web design, provide guidance, and collaborate with creative and business teams to create best-in-class site pages, digital services, and customer experiences
• Partner daily with the eCommerce Site Operations manager and Marketing manager to ensure all launches and campaign execution is successful and meets campaign objectives
• Contributes to the overall analysis of the consumer path-to-purchase, tracking and drawing conclusions from specific e-commerce KPIs
• Engage with partners/vendors (RichRelevance, OrderGroove, Affirm, etc) to continuously improve the value of services offered to our end customers
Job Requirements: (Typical years of experience, skills, certification and academic background to perform this job)
2-3 years of experience managing an ecommerce site; previous exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and reporting tools
Familiarity with site testing procedures and software development process; JIRA experience a plus
Entrepreneurially spirited and intellectually curious, with a customer-driven mindset and passion for e-commerce, data-driven marketing, and analytics
Must be able to juggle multiple concurrent projects and communicate across stakeholders within tight deadlines
Solid interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful relationships within a team and cross-functionally
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users
