Digital Transformation is at the heart of L’Oreal Group’s strategy. The CRM Technologies team sits within the Digital IT function, and its focus is to help provide solutions for its business and IT partners in SAPMENA. Our SAPMENA region covers South APAC Middle East and North Africa. The region comprises of more than 15 countries and more than 20 brands across 4 complementary divisions.
The Single Platform Augmented Consumer Experience (SPACE) program was conceived in order to put consumer at the heart of this transformation which help us achieve consumer centricity, digital strategy and seamless omni—channel experiences for our brands. The SPACE program is made up of Consumer Data Platform (CDP), Consumer Data Services (CDS), Loyalty, and Analytics. The SAPMENA region has just started embarking onto the SPACE program, and hence it would be an exciting and opportune time for the Digital Technical Architect to join us to help design the CRM ecosystem for the future.
This role will take the technical ownership of all the CRM applications in SAPMENA, including accountability over the overall performance of the technical architecture design of the CRM ecosystem, with the end-goal of fully rolling out the SPACE program in SAPMENA. This role will also bring value to the team with having deep understanding of technical architecture and proposing continued improvement initiatives for all the CRM products in the ecosystem.
This role will be required to work with both internal and external stakeholders. To elaborate, this role is responsible for ensuring vendors are developing their products in the right technical direction aligned with L’Oreal. Additionally, this role will need to work with internal stakeholders both at regional and local market level to give advice on architecture and provide technical solutions to any CRM related issues they may face. Zone level IT partners includes digital, data, integration, security, infrastructure and enterprise architecture teams. Local market stakeholders may include brand / division business teams and IT managers.
This role will report to the Head of CRM who has oversight over CRM programs, solutions and strategy for SAPMENA.
Your Capabilities & Skillsets:
This is a role which requires one to have strong technical architecture design and management skills along with a good interest and understanding of Business. In SAPMENA, both IT and Business teams work very closely together, hence a candidate who can translate business requirements and propose suitable technical solutions would be highly desired.
With the advent of SPACE Program, we will be implementing several applications with both build and buy modes. As all these applications are built on different technology stacks, having experience and rich knowledge of working on different technology stacks would be key. For example, CDS is built on a vendor platform, CDP is on AWS, Loyalty is on vendor platform. These applications will be continuously developed and integrated, new solutions are also frequently being considered, hence your opinion and recommendations would be required.
As this is a regional role, some meetings are held remotely. Therefore good, clear and high-quality communication with stakeholders from different countries will be required.
The SAPMENA CRM Team consists of a mix of Program Managers, Product Owners and Data Managers. Team structure is very flat with close communication and collaboration. The team will be looking to this person for technical consult and expertise. Hence strong inter-personal skills is a must.
