The mission of our Consumer Products Division is to provide the best innovation in beauty to consumers wherever and whenever they desire it. Through its brands L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, NYX and essie, the division is focused on meeting the infinite beauty needs of all Australians. CPD team members are empowered and have shared ownership of business activities. The division also has a structure which encourages collaboration and cooperation between its different functions.

Collect and analyse consumer and market insights and competition strategies to make recommendations to management
Implement new launches, maintain growth in pillar products and animate core catalogue
Propose, implement and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
Locally adapt international communication material (imagery, TV, digital, point of sale)
Mobilise and work with other departments (sales, demand planning, category, etc. ) and partner agencies to build broader business strategy & meet deadlines
Make recommendations to management on the category based on own expertise of the consumer, market and competitors (launch analysis, strategy, etc.)
Manage a significant budget and ensure sales forecast accuracy
Effectively prepare clear messages for senior management
Own the brand patrimony, guarantee the brand identity: ensure that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand
Develop digital knowledge and sophistication.
Key qualities required:
Analytical: Ability to analyse and interpret numbers, budgets and data.
Creative: Ability to have innovative and out-side the box ideas.
You will be an experienced, hands-on Brand Manager, who thrives in a fast-paced and creative culture. A strong networker who demonstrates entrepreneurship, you will be able to establish credibility and buy in from stakeholders at all levels of our business. Previous experience working within FMCG /Consumer Goods/ Cosmetics sectors will be highly sought along with a commercially minded and flexible approach. In addition, you will also be innovative and able to manage complexity with a high level of attention to detail and remaining highly results driven.
