Job Summary 

Responsible for product master data management for a specific category or business within CPD.  Responsibility includes the DPM system as well as the Fusion SAP system and its use of the item master data.  Must insure data quality using GS1 standards as well as L’Oreal norms.  Subject area expertise especially in the DPM system to train and advise all system users. Responsible to champion and execute system enhancements.  Will participate in CPD and L’Oreal USA system and process projects.  Will guide PIM Analyst to perform timely integration between DPM and Fusion systems, all material status changes as well as final cost loading and new hierarchy set up in Fusion.   Responsibility also includes timely master data flow from DPM to GDS system.

Job Requirements 

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant  business experience

  • Train and interact with users of all levels (good customer service skills)
  • Problem solve by looking at details and data flows
  • Guide process by applying fundamental good data management practices
  • Work independently yet closely with others to manage the business category and users
  • Manage DPM system projects (scope, development, testing, training)
  • Prioritize operational responsibilities along with user needs

Essential Physical Requirements 

Must be able to work in Berkeley Heights and occasionally (avg. 2 – 4 times a month) travel to New York, Clark or Cranbury offices

Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities 

  1. Support DPM Users with Item Creation and Routing
  2. Manage product data integrity
  3. User training and support
  4. Trouble shoot/problem solve any product data issues (DPM or Fusion)
  5. System testing and system and process enhancement projects 
  6. Cross functional interface/documentation
  7. GDS application support (proper master data flows; error resolution)
