Applicants are invited for the above-indicated vacancy that exists in the Active Cosmetics Division. The incumbent will report into the Commercial Director.

Objectives: Effective services rendered to L’Oréal ACD and its customers, through the operational management of L’Oréal ACD customers in his/her specific area.


KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation’s products.
  • Call on stores each day to monitor shelf health (Availability, Accessibility, Affordability, Assortment and Activity)
  • Prepare and present sales plans weekly and implement sales budgets
  • Interpreting Stock on Hand reports and send weekly actions to be executed to the agents
  • Conduct Counts in Store
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales and distribution (deliveries)
  • Analyses the Key account/store’s potential and determines the opportunity for the organization
  • Assess and manage returns with relevant partners
  • Follow up on all new store openings and Promotions
  • Adherence to Planograms, Merchandising guidelines and Category plans
  • Provided trade visits feedback to L’Oréal ACD and log daily calls
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and future customers

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of sales experience (FMCG)
  • Knowledge of the Cosmetic/Pharmaceutical regulatory environment (advantage)
  • Knowledge of sales concepts in FMCG and their application
  • A driver’s license and a car
  • Track record of success of success in sales
  • Willingness to travel
