KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES


To work closely with Corporate Communications Director to define the corporate communications strategy, in order to develop awareness, build and reinforce L’Oréal Group’s reputation.

Strategy Development

  • Support the building and implementing a 360° communication strategy covering internal and external stakeholders, in line with HK’s business strategy and the Group’s Communication strategy

External & Digital Communications

  • Manage media relations, including new media: build a media planning; identify key publications / journalists
  • Support and advise the Country GM and Country senior management with regards to corporate communications topics & issues
  • Develop digital road map and content strategy for enhancing online corporate brand reputation 
  • Build a local influencers network
  • Identify media publicity opportunities and prepare for interviews (including media-training) and advise for internal and external speeches
Internal Communications
  • Work with Corp Com Director to develop Internal and Managerial Communication strategies
  • Build an internal communication plan in line with the external plan
  • Partner with Human Resource to develop strategies and initiatives to enhance employee centricity
Crisis Communications
  • Support Crisis and Issues Management
  • Monitor and map risks
  • Develop the prevention prepare potential responses
  • Coordinate with the Group’s Issue Management Team

Public Affairs

  • Work with Corp Com Director to develop Public Affairs strategy in line with the Group strategy
  • Build a stakeholders mapping (Govt, trade bodies, NGO, KOL…), including stakes and risks for the business
  • Drive KOL relations

Others

  • Develop communication expertise and know how of all brand communications teams
  • Identify and development talents for corporate communications
  • Manage the Department’s budget


DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 10 years of relevant working experience, in which 3 years are taking position of a team leader or equivalent
  • Both a team leader and a team player, the candidate shall be result-oriented, be perseverance, able to lead projects and influence stakeholders, while maintaining a strong collaborative and affinity spirit
  • Strong experience on issues and crisis management, and experience of working closely with senior management 
  • Excellent command in English and Chinese languages, both oral and written communications
  • Good presentation skills and fluency in Putonghua is expected
  • Solid experience of working with traditional media and journalists, and on social and digital platforms   
  • Experience of working in multi-national and sizeable corporations
  • Working experience in multi-market setting is preferred
