Our teams within Corporate Services play a crucial role in supporting the business to deliver the Group’s strategic priorities such as Digital Transformation and our sustainability commitment Sharing Beauty with All. This area of our business provides expertise in Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Digital, Communications, HR and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs.
About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team on a 14-month contract. Picking up a well-established and respected function you will work closely with the management committee to set out and deliver the external and internal communications strategy for the L’Oréal Australia Group. The role focuses on communicating how the Group is a great business, great employer and great corporate citizen.
With ownership for the continual development of the strategic vision of corporate communications, you will play a highly visible role across all levels of L’Oréal. Within the role you will:
o Proactively promote L’Oréal Australia through external channels including established social media accounts and pitching to key media outlets
o Lead issues management from a communications perspective with the crisis management team
o Engage employees in all teams and locations across Australia to understand the strategic direction of the business and the role they play in our success
o Maintain key internal communication channels
o Support change management projects
o Support the Managing Director and General Manager on internal communications activities
o Partner with the HR Director and team on employee engagement programs and annual activities
o Lead and coordinate the flagship philanthropic programs For Women in Science and Citizen Day
o Coordinate the Australian sustainability program
· Manage the Corporate Communications team
To be successful in this role, you will have strong corporate communications experience within a FMCG or Retail environment. A natural collaborator you will understand the importance of communications within a geographically diverse workforce. Possessing gravitas and strong communication skills, you will be able to articulate a clear vision for both external and internal communications and be able to work in partnership with your key stakeholders to achieve beneficial outcomes. Your adaptable and agile approach will set you apart as will your conviction and resilience.
