What are key highlights of this role?


The Consumer Products Division’s mission is to offer the best in cosmetics innovation to the greatest number of people utilising all mass-market channels. Brands include L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline & Essie which offer beauty and personal care products that incorporate the latest scientific advances.

Working with our commercial team to convert the promotional plan into a demand forecast and validate it with key clients. You will then use your understanding of the account’s buying policy to accurately convert this ‘sell-out’ forecast into a ‘sell-in’ forecast ensuring stock availability. As the expected sale date draws closer you will monitor performance maximising our visibility of short term sales. You will also take ownership of the S&OP process for one of our categories, making sure that the business’ demand for that category is accurately transmitted to our International planning team. Your key objective is to ensure account demand is accurately and rapidly reflected in our forecast.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate sell-out to sell-in forecast at SKU-level
  • Run collaborative forecast process with accounts
  • Maximise conformance to critical paths for events (launches, promotions etc.)
  • Own the forecast process for your category
  • Update short-term sell-in picture for your account in collaboration with the account manager(flash management)
