Director, Omni Channel Marketing

Saint Petersburg, Florida (in office three days a week)      

SUMMARY:

As our director of omni-channel marketing, you will lead the strategic vision, planning, development and execution of SalonCentric brand identity, integrated marketing campaigns, and initiatives. With an omni mindset, bring to life the SalonCentric brand across store, street, site and app ensuring plans align strategically across online and offline. You will create a compelling shopping experience through innovative programs and influence omni channel marketing to drive sales and build loyalty to SalonCentric. Leverage print and digital communications vehicles to promote events and drive traffic while creating a 360 omni experience.

To be successful and thrive in this role, you will cultivate and maintain extensive cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal and external business stakeholders including the Digital Marketing, Omni Operations, Visual Merchandising, Education, Brand and Channel teams. This individual will have experience in overall brand marketing campaigns with an innovative and creative approach to traffic and sales driving opportunities.

In developing the future, you will oversee a marketing manager and be responsible for supporting their learning, growing, performing and career movement. You will report to the vice president, marketing and together will drive the total brand strategy for SalonCentric.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead marketing initiatives including developing marketing programs to drive traffic / sales as well as to create branded experiences across all touch points.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Store, Education and Digital teams to promote key SalonCentric initiatives via print and digital communications
  • Provide clear creative direction to Creative Services and critically evaluate artwork to optimize visual impact and communication.
  • Manage production and delivery of monthly Visual Merchandising update packages for SalonCentric on time and within budget
  • Coordinate logistics such as quantities, shipping, and dimensions with Creative Services, Store Team & outside vendors.
  • Lead creative development of Promotional Events and sales including overall theme and event components such as contests, giveaways, gifts-with-purchase, store signage and communications plans
  • Oversee Store Promotional Planning Calendar and ensure there are sufficient promotions and animations to drive traffic and build customer loyalty each month
  • Lead Store Marketing Opportunities bidding & selection process
  • Publish annual Store Marketing Opportunities Guide outlining program participation criteria and execution details to Brands
  • Collaborate with Stores, Street, eCommerce, Promotional Planning and Marketing teams to ensure that key brand initiatives are properly supported
  • Direct & review brand-provided promotional and permanent merchandising materials ensure they are impactful, effective, meet specifications and are delivered on time
  • Conduct regular trainings with Brand Marketing teams and Franchise/Sub distributor Owners on retail marketing best practices and processes
  • Cultivate relationships with PPD & Partner Brands, collaborating with SMD & Category Management teams
  • Monitor key competitors and identify best retail marketing & merchandising practices across all industries including staying abreast of new technologies that are being successfully leveraged in retail environments
  • Visit Stores, franchises, review site/app and connect with SalonCentric Business Partners on a regular basis to identify opportunities for new programs and merchandising as well as enhancements to existing programs / materials
  • Manage Omni Channel Marketing Budget and continually seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years Retail Marketing or related experience. Additional experience in visual merchandising, brand management, advertising and digital marketing desirable.
  • Creative thinker who can translate marketing vision into impactful and innovative programs that continually “surprise and delight” our customers while also achieving strategic objectives & priorities.
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to direct cross-functional team to achieve successful execution on time, within budget and in line with strategic direction.
  • Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships and influencing other departments to achieve results.
  • Excellent aesthetic sensibility and strong understanding of retail copywriting.
  • Able to provide clear creative & copy direction to Creative Services.
  • Success in demanding quality creative execution by providing constructive feedback to enhance impact and effectiveness of communication.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Retail Management majors preferred
  • Some travel required for store visits and meetings
  • Must have long term authorization to work in the U.S.A.
