We have a suitable opening in the Supply Chain function for the role of E-commerce Supply Chain assistant manager based in Mumbai. You come with a relevant experience of 3 – 6 years in supply chain, sales and planning. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for all the operational areas of E-commerce business, oversee development of systems and processes of continuous improvement. Applicants from the industry of Consumer goods, FMCG and Retail will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will establish supply chain processes tailored to the Ecom business model and be an expert in driving process improvements with the ecom clients
  • You will drive efficiencies across all supply chain functions for Ecom (Logistics, planning and customer care)
  • You will engage with the key clients in collaborative forecasting and integrate this in overall planning and procurement cycles
  • You will find innovative ways of delivering customizations effectively on promotions and animations in line with the business requirement
  • You will innovate on utilizing right technology across ecom supply chain
  • You will establish right key performance indicators and dashboards to drive engagement and expectations with the clients
  • You will be instrumental in driving the ecom business growth by delivering the best in class performance on the key supply chain KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, IQ, Fill rates, OTC Lead time)
  • You will standardize the TOT and other deliverables with the clients


Key Deliverables:

  • To ensure right supply chain models for Ecom clients
  • To ensure right availability of the products onsite and right hygiene across the value chain
  • To deliver on the supply chain key performance indicators


Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Supply chain planning and execution
  • Knowledge of makeup business would be an add-on
  • Understanding of emerging technologies in the supply chain space would be an add-on

Key Relationships:

  • Internal Stakeholders – EKam, Demand Planning, Sales planning, Supply and Distribution Planning, Physical Distribution, eFinance, zone ecom teams
  • External Stakeholders – Etailer supply chain and Finance Teams, Etailer buying and category teams, etailer marketing teams
