L’Oréal UKI is seeking dynamic, results driven Field Sales Manager to lead a complex, fast-growing business. The role reports into the Senior Commercial Manager and will have full ownership of the Field Sales Team in Ireland. You will be responsible for the team`s coaching and developing their skill set whilst also working with in partnership with key retailers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership responsibility, development and coaching of the Sales Team.

    • Lead , motivate and engage the team

    • Develop, train and coach the team members individually to ensure they are successful within their roles.

  • Build and achieve results for the full Consumer Products Division portfolio:

    • Work closely with the Senior Commercial Manager to ensure all KPI`s & objectives are achieved

    • Achieve Sales, market share, P&L down to gross margin, forecast accuracy in line with targets

    • Build customer plans based on Category Strategy team recommendations and CPD priorities

    • Execute the brands key strategies from a Marketing & Commercial perspective, creating a qualitative presence in store.

    • Develop strong relationships with all customers, sharing strategies to jointly grow the categories with regular business reviews.

  • Drive new business with focus on e-retail / e-com turnover across all Accounts to accelerate growth and participation.

  • Monthly reviews for each territory to ensure all territories have a clear action plan.

    • Identify and explore new opportunities to drive sales and increase distribution

    • Focus and Drive the customers, by animating peer functions:  Trade Marketing, PR, Supply Chain, & Finance.

    • Budget Management : regular monitoring of costs and budget allocation




Alongside experience in a similar role and excellent leadership & communication skills, you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

  • Excellent at developing and managing a high performing team.

  • Significant experience in a customer-facing role

  • Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
