Financial Analyst (Financial COE)

Your role:

Financial Analysts are responsible for analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, tracking a company's financial performance against developed forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by conducting detailed market and company analysis.

We expect that you succeed in:

  • Providing insight into emerging digital business and communicate with operational and international business partners
  • Helping establish data collection, management, and usage processes to conduct analytics requests more easily
  • Conducting gross margin analysis, and analyzing GMA impacts by source to communicate with leadership
  • Working on ad-hoc financial analytics requests to report on L'Oréal's financial health, and identify potential operational improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring legal requirements respect and service quality
  • Participation in group and local financial projects to improve processes
  • Using the lean mindset in day-to-day work

We are looking for:

  • University degree (ACCA, CIMA would be an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience in accounting/finance area
  • Financial planning and analysis experience
  • Data management skills
  • Analytical ability, accuracy, and meticulousness
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient in MS Office (mainly MS Excel)
