We have a suitable opportunity in the function of Marketing for the position of Group Product Manager (Haircolor). This is an individual contributor role where one has to define the strategic orientations and the 3-year marketing plan for the category, monitor the portfolio, manage promotions and media plans and ensure implementation of trade marketing plan. The candidate should have minimum 7 plus years of brand marketing and sales experience. The location of the job will be in Mumbai and candidates from FMCG, Consumer Goods or companies catering to beauty industry will be given advantage.



Job Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the growth of the brand portfolio in the market
  • To drive new product launches and pushing growth on pillar products through promotional and advertising excellence for a specific product group


Key Deliverables:

  • To create Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and ensure robust execution and implementation
  • To contribute to local adaptation of advertising creative material and analyse media recommendations
  • To listen and develop a deep understanding of consumers and develop insights
  • To analyse data on product category and make recommendations to management
  • To manage budget for group of products and highlight issues
  • To interact effectively with other departments and support marketing objectives
  • To build, develop and manage a strong team, train them and develop their marketing expertise

Key Competencies

  • FMCG brand marketing and digital marketing experience is mandatory
  • Sensitivity to Metier and in depth knowledge of products / category
  • Research and Market data analysis
  • Knowledge of local retail dynamics, environment, competitors, market trends and consumers
  • Media efficiency and planning knowledge
  • Good communication and presentation skills, leadership and team management skills
  • Strong drive and commitment

  • Internal Interactions – Marketing, Consumer and Market Insights, DMI, Commercial, Finance, Merchandising and Zone teams
  • External Interactions – Agencies
