What are key highlights of this role?


As the HR Business Partner you will report into the HR Director for the Division and act as a trusted advisor for your designated client group of either brand of functional teams. You will be driven by the challenge of partnering with the business to help achieve the business and people agendas.

As part of your role you will be able to quickly build strong relationships with internal managers and employees and be the first point of contact for all HR related queries. You will be able to think on your feet, be solutions focused and results driven.

What are the key duties of this role?

·         Drive the talent agenda through;

o   Supporting the business in talent acquisition and onboarding, promoting diversity balance and creating a pipeline of future talent

o   Dynamic career conversations, in alignment with managers, to reinforce retention and optimise skillsets across teams

o   Regular and proactive succession planning in conjunction with the business leaders for your populations

o   Support line managers in their decision making for promotions/offers and in delivering key messages to their teams

  • Strategic Projects: Help drive the UK & Ireland People Road Map by supporting the wider HR community with key projects, such as the Simplicity cultural transformation, continuing to grow engagement and enablement, implementing innovative employee experiences including ‘Be Right Back’ and GROW.
  • Organisational Design: Supporting the business in building new capabilities and team structures as the business rapidly evolves and managing changes in the most effective way possible.
  • Headcount and salary mass: Support the HRD to effectively manage headcount and salary mass elements of the Divisional budget.
  • Employee Relations: Be able to lead and manage all first line employee relations cases, ensuring managers are offered practical advice and guidance in line with current legislation.
  • Reporting: Responsible for the monthly dashboard and identifying key trends for the Division. Other duties include reviewing all payroll files before monthly submission.
