What are key highlights of this role?

The mission of the Reward function is to provide ‘best in class’ Total Reward, and to ensure our people are ‘justly rewarded’. The scope is broad: international mobility, Long-term Incentive Plans, annual pay cycles, variable pay schemes, cost control, management reporting, flexible benefits, pensions, recognition and policies. As a Reward Adviser you will be passionate about offering an outstanding employee experience and delivering HR operational excellence.

What are the key duties of this role?

You will be involved in a wide range of reward activities which may include the following:

International Mobility

  • Work closely with the L’Oréal Group to determine compensation packages
  • Work with external providers to arrange accommodation, schooling, taxation etc.
  • Analyse and recommend reference salary increases for outbound UK expats  and maintain social security and retirements through shadow payroll

Flexible Benefits

  • Work closely with the platform provider and external vendors to enhance engagement and participation through the development of new and interesting voluntary benefits by working closely with providers
  • Monitor market developments to take advantage of tax-breaks and new products
  • Ensure efficient administration of approx. 10 voluntary benefits


  • Monthly contribution cycles for 2 active pension schemes – DC and DB
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Auto-Enrolment
  • Annual renewal cycles – including all international members
  • Assist employees in transferring in and out of schemes

Group Insurances

  • Work closely with the brokers/intermediaries to secure the best deal for Life, Income Protection and Private Medical
  • Ensure administration is accurate and efficient – especially  for claims

Budget Control

  • Raise POs & monitor spend through monthly cost analysis

Pay Cycles

  • Support the annual salary review by validating data and collating recommendations
  • Ensure accurate job evaluation for circa 1500 positions and maintain reliable bench marking through survey participation
  • Calculation and analysis of bonus score and profit share

Data Analytics

  • Analyse trends in key HR metrics such as turnover, rate of hire etc.
  • Produce management information on a regular basis as well as ad-hoc

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot tables, conditional formulas etc.)
  • An energetic individual with a pragmatic, enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic
  • HR and Payroll systems experience preferred, preferably SAP
  • Previous reward experience preferred, , e.g. mobility, compensation, benefits, Long-term Incentive Plans
  • Process orientated with the ability to multi-task
