eCommerce Agile Transformation Lead

As an Agile Transformation Lead, you will lead multiple Agile / Product teams and help operationalize the functions of product evolution. You will play an instrumental role in conducting and overseeing scrum rituals for Agile teams and deliver product iterations, while managing product evolution as a program. You will be a change agent for the organization in adopting and embracing Agile principles in both IT and the business, by helping teams partner and collaborate on solving business problems.

An ideal candidate will also have but not limited to, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with Agile certification with key experience delivering large-scale programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders to ensure leadership buy-in across both Business and IT on various technology initiatives
  • Become a strategic partner in structuring team and resources to drive increased ROI, greater adoption and higher transformation success
  • Provide coaching and training at all levels in an emerging Agile environment
  • Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the needs of the initiative
  • Identify and execute best practices to increase delivery efficiencies, transparency and quality
  • Facilitate roadmap discussions, scrum rituals - sprint planning, refinement, review and retrospectives
  • Support the triage and resolution of critical impediments for the team and program
  • Drive effective communications both written and verbal regarding progress and status for both product, IT and business teams
  • Handle program management activities including stakeholder management, scope planning, risks and audit and effective reporting
  • Conduct and facilitate organizational, product team, training workshops on Agile methodologies
  • Work closely with external partners that support L’Oreal in the eCommerce domain
  • Partner and support cross-functional needs to drive delivery needs
  • Mentor agile teams and help create Agile communities of practice (CoP) across different skills
  • Prepare effective presentations to communicate to senior business and IT stakeholders
  • Lead and participate in annual budget planning sessions for eCommerce
  • Identify, mitigate resolve, escalate issues on product / agile teams
  • Conduct post-mortems for initiatives and help refine and enforce best practices

Job Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related IT discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile coach with an Agile practitioner mindset understanding common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices
  • 10+ years of experience in IT SDLC
  • Experience with Scrum and Kanban Methodologies
  • Experience with Agile product and portfolio management
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework highly preferred
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
  • Ability to play to role of Agile coach and help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
  • Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
  • Proven track record of large-scale digital and/or eCommerce delivery engagements
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Accountability, ownership and decision-making are key traits we seek in this individual
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experience using business workflow platforms to manage projects, SIT, QA, UAT (Jira, ServiceNow a plus)
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project and Visio
  • Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
  • Willing to travel to NY, NJ area offices
