Job Summary:

The L’Oréal LUXE Division is a group at L’Oréal USA which includes a luxurious portfolio of beauty, skincare, and fragrance brands such as Lancôme, International Designer Collections, Kiehl’s, Urban Decay, Clarisonic, IT Cosmetics, and many more.

The internship is a 12 month assignment with the L’Oreal LUXE/Clarisonic HR team with an emphasis on new hire process, recruitment, onboarding, and general administrative duties. They will provide assistance to the HR team as well as handle own HR related projects and support the General Manager.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree received within past 12 months. Coursework in Human Resources and/or related fields preferred, but not mandatory

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills

High level of organization and detail oriented

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and to multi-task

Curious, driven and a passion to learn

Displays high energy, positive attitude

Proactive, self-motivated, resourceful

Team player

Motivated to work in the beauty business (not mandatory, but interest needs to be there to connect with field teams)

Past administrative experience working in a corporate office environment is a plus

 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Issue, track and follow up on new hire, transfer, promotion and termination workflows
  • Facilitate all interview scheduling and follow-up
  • Handle new hire process for all employees which includes: HireRight background/drug screen, Redcarpet new hire paperwork, space/telephone set up, corporate card application, Learning for Transformation enrollments, etc.
  • Coordinate logistics for monthly socials, new hire breakfast, lunch and learns, etc.
  • HR projects include but are not limited to: employee manual, Org Charts, Floor seating plans, Employee files, team purchase orders
  • Support temp/contract onboarding
  • Support General Manager with admin and expenses

Administrative departmental duties including, but not limited to:

  • Maintain files for expense reports, invoices, memo’s
  • Process invoices
  • Coordinate and assist with preparing materials for all presentations to senior management
  • Visitor Registration
  • IT Tickets
