Key Job Responsibilities:
This role is responsible with assisting the Consumer Products Division’s Cosmetics team at Target with our day-to-day commercial tasks. As an individual contributor, the Junior Sales Associate is responsible for assistance with commercial reporting & analysis and other administrative duties.
- Assists with the reoccurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly) sales reporting for the Cosmetics businesses. Leverages cross-functional teams and tools to maximize automation and efficiency.
- Assists with the analysis of promotions, marketing activations, markdowns, new item performance, and display and seasonal moments.
- Maintains and updates important commercial retail files, grids, and trackers that are essential to the team’s effectiveness.
- Develops an understanding of the CPD Brands and competitor positioning within the category (offline/online) along with contributing factors to market changes and social trends.
Partners closely with the Cosmetics team as well as multi-functional stakeholders (Customer Marketing, Customer Development Manager, UX Manager, Sales Analyst and Account Coordinator).
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate (within 12 months) from a bachelor’s program with demonstrated interest in Sales and Marketing in the beauty industry.
- Computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (strong emphasis on Excel and Power BI).
- Self-starter, results oriented, strong networking skills and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate timeliness, attention to detail, and accuracy in all tasks.
