The L'Oréal USA 12-Month Junior Marketing Associate (JMA) internship program allows creative visionaries and strategic thinkers to enhance their marketing knowledge in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The JMA program is paid internship opportunity that for candidates who have graduated with a degree within the last 12 months and is able to work 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join the Salon Business Solutions team in the Professional Products Division (PPD) of L’Oreal USA. This position will be part of the 360 US Marketing team with the goal of creating and executing business development initiatives to promote brand awareness through all touchpoints.

The Junior Marketing Associate – Salon Business Solutions has the responsibility to effectively support the AVP on the execution of business development initiatives as it pertains to Summit, Salon & Suite Emotion, and LeadRolfs Global Institute powered by L’Oreal.

Requirements

           Recent graduate (within 12 months) of a BA degree in a marketing or digital related field.

           Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

           Self-starter and capable of working under minimum supervision

           Well-developed computer skills, including Word, Excel and Power Point required

           Ability to manage, prioritize multiple assignments and work efficiently while remaining flexible to unforeseen changes in direction

           Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, planning skills and follow up skills

           Enthusiastic team player, creative/innovative thinker with a passion for process improvement

           Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and sense of urgency in a fast paced work environment 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

The Junior Marketing Associate - Salon Business Solutions will report to the AVP Business Development while working closely with the Summit team, Rolfs Global foundation, all Field Positions, the brand marketing teams, and the Distributor Education Manager.

SALON EMOTION & SUITE EMOTION

  • Responsible for the effective scheduling and tracking of live and virtual classes
  • Develop new content to keep programs relevant including resource guides for field teams
  • Execute a campaign to drive more awareness to the programs, including managing the social channels, website, and Estetica partnership
  • Partner with brand marketing teams to integrate Salon Emotion content into launch communications
  • Schedule and manage annual trainings with field and education teams, as well as the PPD artist network
  • Manage the education budget
  • Participate in monthly global Salon Emotion calls

SUMMIT

  • Develop and execute CRM campaigns through our databases to drive Summit enrollments.
  • Work closely with Summit and SC education team to book feeder programs
  • Schedule and organize quarterly Summit trainings for all field employees and bi-annual trainings for the brand marketing teams
  • Support in the planning and execution of the annual L’Oreal Partnership Advantage Event
  • Participate in bi-weekly Summit leadership call and quarterly Summit all company call with coaches

LEADROLFS GLOBAL INSTITUTE powered by L’OREAL

  • Manage CRM campaigns with brand teams and Saloncentric
  • Be point of contact for agency on creative, website, PR, and media
  • Manage scholarship funds with Rolfs
  • Participate in weekly Lead meetings with Rolfs and VM Groupe
  • Communicate updates on Lead internally

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Contribution to monthly newsletter
  • Monthly expense report
