ABOUT THE JOB

·      This role will be reporting to the Senior Commercial Controller, and work closely with commercial, marketing and supply chain to provide essential financial and analytical support.

·      Prepare sales forecasts on a monthly basis and assist with producing management reports for the senior management team

·      Assist with preparation of month end, half year and year end audits, including GL analysis, accruals/journals, reconciliations and variance analysis

·      Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly trend submissions and use financial systems to provide required analytical support

·      Assist commercial customer contracts management and provide accounting and analytical support as required to support day to day operational tasks and assist with ongoing projects and decision support.

·      Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business and adopt continual improvement practices and share best practice where possible

ABOUT YOU:

  • At least Bachelor degree on Commerce/Accounting and Finance or in a similar field, and be part or fully qualified with either CA or CPA program
  • Up to 3 years of experience in Financial, Accounting or controlling areas in a big organization (preferably FMCG but not essential)
  • Potential candidate will have good communication and team collaboration skills, attention to details, and be able to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines
  • Exposure to large ERP systems, particularly SAP, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large data sets are a key requirement
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
