• Manage the consumer evaluation team for the insight , design , implementation, follow-up, monitoring and the analysis of all consumer testing , knowledge for all product categories ( skin , hair make up ) . Team size 16 .
• Define , implement & validate strategic vision and new capabilities for highly innovative products , and provide deeper & faster consumer understanding in accordance with future needs 
• Communication of results , contextual analysis ( within and across studies ) and provide recommendations that can guide formulation teams
• Have a broad perspective and work with business , CMI , product & package development and other evaluation science areas – consumer , instrumental and sensory 
• Incorporate and build on the latest external capability , methods , approaches and thinking 
( in particular digital , design thinking and user experience )
• Suggest & influence design and implementation of knowledge studies 
• The position requires close collaboration and routine interaction with the worldwide international consumer science leader and the leadership of defined capability areas 
• Report to head of Product Performance Evaluation

• Knowledge and experience of product – related consumer evaluation , insights mining & development etc 
• Experience in FMCG or Dermo-cosmetic domain 
• Experience and understanding of the broader context of performance evaluation ( sensory , consumer and instrumental evaluation methods and knowledge ) 
• Management of senior stakeholders
• Fluent English. 
• Knowledge of external developments in consumer understanding 
• Previous experience in leadership and/or management activities
• Some knowledge of project management processes and tools.
• Creative protocol development

• Minimum BS/BA degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline ( MS/PhD highly preferred ) with a several years experience as a consumer or evaluation ( or associated field ) manager 
• A broad understanding of R&I ( ideally in FMCG context ; formulation , evaluation , biology etc ) 
• Experienced in leading and directing aspects of R&I ( formulation , evaluation , biology etc )
