Context : 

As part of the modernization of IS, its digital transformation and the mutualization of its platforms in Europe, L’Oréal IT EMEA is looking for a Retail Infrastructure Service Manager

Responsibilities and main missions:

The Retail Infrastructure Service leader is the owner of the Retail Infrastructure Service Line as:

  • Lead the end to end Retail Infrastructure IT platforms, including the POS, the Network and the back office services and associated technologies,
  • Infrastructure, in collaboration with all the stakeholders,
  • Develop and support the Retail Infrastructure Service Line and the associated Service Catalog for the internal customers,
  • Ensure the capacity, organization, planning and budget alignment with the business stakeholders,
  • Be the technical referent and contribute to build a long term vision strategy and monitor performance,
  • Infrastructure landscape in terms of Infrastructure, integration, technologies with reusability and simplification,
  • and with the Group IT standards,

Lead the Retail Infrastructure team, mainly in charge of Level 3 support and technical projects implementation


We are looking for a Retail Service Manager with at least 5 years of experience as Infrastructure service manager, international experience preferred.

  • 5+ years in service Retail IT
  • 5+ years of support or operation management
  • 3+ years as a technical architect
  • 3+ years of software / middleware development

Technical and professional Skills:  

Technical Skills:

  • POS Systems, In-Store technologies, User Performance Management,
  • Transactional, Batch, ESB and ETL technologies (Tibco BW, Control-M, IBM Sterling, Informatica)
  • Network (firewall, Subnet, VPN, Meraki, Mobile device),
  • IAAS, PAAS services (DB, Web app),
  • Workplace : SCCM, Mobile, Laptop management
  • DBA Knowledge is a plus

Professional Skills:

  • Significant track record in Project Management and Service Management,
  • Excellent design documentation & presentation,
  • Strong Organization Skills
  • Teamwork, excellent social skills, intellectual flexibility,
  • Working with offshore/remote teams
  • Understand and develop continuous improvement initiatives
  • Fit with organizational IT processes (ITIL)

·         Evidence of a Master’s degree in Information Management or equivalent Business Technology degree.
