  • Lead Data & Market Intelligence Strategy in the country (Offline and Online/E-Commerce and Retail assessment, Retail channels by market size and product categories, assessment of opportunities).

  • Provide analysis and recommendations to ensure proper consideration of the consumer channel shifts into the group/division/brand/category’s growth strategy.

  • Lead the collection and systematic analysis of country market data (panels, media plans, socio-economy, culture, demography, etc.), ensuring information quality and accuracy. Analyse the evolution of the markets, the sector and the competition’s activities, to inform the country business strategy

  • Consolidation of market reports from different sources to a one-country overview for all divisions (mass, luxury, professional markets) from various sources  to show country overview, topline, sell-in vs sell-out, market shares by division, categories, channels, accounts, etc. to estimate the beauty market and to estimate the potential of the beauty market in the short and longer terms 

  • Routine and timely reporting to local teams, zone, DMI e.g. BMS (Beauty Market Survey)

  • Build and manage the local market intelligence research plans: organise and develop strategic recommendation to guide the teams in expanding market/channels to help increase market share and growth through new projects or channel or category shifts and finding the right angle of attack

  • Propose and formalise the scope of the market research projects (objectives, time frames, human and material resources, costs), manage the relationships with external research agencies, ensuring the correct use and application of the Group's methodologies

  • Sales uplift surveys (Facebook)

  • One market project (Business unit Zone)              

  • Market Mix modeling (ad-hoc / Google)

  • Work together with country and zone Consumer Insights (CI) team to ensure that country data is correctly transferred and to exchange best practices

  • Take the role of adviser for senior management and marketing teams to develop their expertise and knowledge of the market and the CI team on consumers

  • Construct and develop recommendations for senior management, and brand teams to develop their expertise and knowledge of the market to ensure their integration in key decisions

  • Manage the department's budget for market intelligence projects
