Corporate Accounts (Financial Accounting)

YOU WILL...

Work in a fast-paced financial accounting team that is responsible for financial statements, reporting to parent company, intercompany reconciliation, fixed assets, month end closure, compliance with IFRS/FRS101 and the integrity of the general ledger. Financial accounting play a important part in finance projects, particularly those which are driven by our parent company, and you will have a key part to play in the successful completion of these projects. You will gain experience in all areas of financial accounting, although your main focus will be on;

Administration and maintenance of the fixed asset ledger, including reporting,
Intercompany reconciliation and reporting,
Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis,
Assisting in the preparation of the group reporting packages and local financial statements,
Month end closure including calculation of prepayment and accruals,
General ledger master data; creation and maintenance.

YOU HAVE...

Educated to at least a degree level and committed to study for a CIMA/ACCA qualification (study support available)
Highly numerate – strong analytically and good commercial acumen
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative with courage
Highly organised with prioritisation skills and strong communication skills  (written and verbal) and excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire
The ability to challenge processes and propose and implement improvements to systems and procedures
Team spirit, commitment and a strong work ethic
Strong excel skills

Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment
