BI Developer (FIXED TERM) - Luxe

L’Oréal have a fixed term opportunity for a Business Intelligence Developer, supporting the Head of BI for L’Oréal Luxe UKI. Your main mission will be to create and develop a sell in and sell out forecasting tool for the business. You will work with brand business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver an automated solution.

You will

Consult with internal brand teams, collecting and interpreting reporting needs
Plan, design and deploy an automated solution that encapsulates the needs of the brand and corporate sales teams
Automise data upload from multiple data sources into a single source of truth 
Assist with the debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting of all existing solutions; finding new and simplified ways of working
Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for data management
Produce high quality documentation for functional specifications and/or support documents for Service teams

You are

Educated to degree level
Highly numerate – strong analytically
A proven problem solver who is able to find simple solutions to complex problems
A self-starter and motivator with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Flexible, agile and open minded

You have

Advanced understanding of data architecture and IT infrastructure
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries to mine and transform data
Experience designing and developing approaches to maintaining data quality
The ability to quickly learn and understand new business models and environments
The ability to achieve high quality results by paying attention to detail
Great communication skills (written and verbal) and a collaborative working style
