Head of D&I UKI
Inclusion is a core value of the L’Oréal Group and forms a critical part of the UKI People agenda. Our belief is that Inclusion is critical for our people to feel secure, confident and supported to not have to change the way they look, think or act to carry out their job effectively – to be confident in being their authentic selves.
We consider that ‘Inclusion’ is constructed of four core pillars – which share some commonality in their challenges but also own independent characteristics and issues. These core pillars alongside the transversal elements will broaden as we seek to create an environment for all to flourish as well as an understanding on how our joint actions can deliver this.
L'Oréal UKI has a responsibility and desire to continually evolve our understanding, thinking and actions on this journey. We want our vision of Inclusion to articulate our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce and an environment that respects all individuals and their contributions. We are therefore looking for a passionate and transformative Diversity and Inclusion professional and leader to help our employees, managers and leaders shape, implement and embed the strategy and deliver the vision in UKI.
This newly created position, reporting directly to the HRD UKI reinforces our commitment to positioning Inclusion as a strategic objective at the heart of our business agenda to drive attraction, retention, and engagement of the best and most diverse talent. This is a unique opportunity to build on the great activity on Inclusion already in place as well as accelerate our journey to be fit for the future. Inclusion is not a static topic and we therefore require someone who is going to educate and evolve with the ever-changing external context.
