Job Responsibilities


  • Responsible for operations, team development, training, recruiting, interviewing, store scheduling, and maintaining store standards
  • Make sure all team members follow company policies, resolve customer complaints, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals
  • Monitor store and individual sales performance to maintain or increase sales productivity
  • Make sure the store stays compliant with Operations and LP standards
  • Provide on-going training and develop staff to achieve their career aspirations
  • Achieve annual sales plans within operating budgets
  • Partner with district manager in executing directives from corporate partners
  • Drive sales by communicating product information to customers, assisting customers in finding substitutions for returns and/or out of stock merchandise, and informing customers about current or upcoming promotions
  • Build and maintain community partnerships
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the store while complying with company policies and procedures
  • Take initiative in creating ways to add to sales volume through demonstration and knowledge of products
  • Develop customer relationships and nurture repeat business
  • Conduct oneself with integrity, respect and professionalism


Experience, Competencies and Physical Requirements 


  • 5+ years of brick and mortar store management experience
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales by leading and motivating a team
  • Highly resourceful, flexible, and able to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities, and make effective decisions
  • Thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and outlets
  • Consistent record of promotions and increased responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, office suite, and social media expertise
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and to work nights and weekends
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
