About the Role

 

We are searching for a passionate and detail-oriented Industrial Sr Hygienist/Sr Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of our cosmetic products and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for implementing and upholding the highest hygiene standards across our facilities while effectively managing projects to drive continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Hygiene:  Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene protocols and procedures across all stages of production and related areas: weighing, processing, packaging, storage, utilities, and facilities in compliance with international and local regulations. Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of facilities, utilities, equipment, and processes to identify and mitigate potential risks. Develop and deliver hygiene training programs for employees at all levels. Stay abreast of the latest industry best practices and regulatory changes related to cosmetic hygiene.  
  • Project Management:  Lead and manage hygiene-related projects, including the implementation of new equipment, processes, or regulations. Active participation in FAT and SAT for new equipment ensuring no hygiene risks. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Effectively communicate project updates and results to stakeholders at all levels. Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively.  
  • Collaboration and Communication:  Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Safety, Engineering to ensure seamless integration of hygiene practices. Prepare and present clear and concise reports and presentations on hygiene-related matters.  
  • Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in hygiene practices and lead initiatives to implement them. Analyze data and trends to identify and address potential hygiene risks proactively.  

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or correlated areas.
  • Prefers experience (minimum 2 years) as an Industrial Hygienist or a similar role in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., GMP, ISO 22716, FDA).
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Green Belt qualification would be a plus.
