This role is located in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.


Job Summary

  • Report to the Director - Business Process Improvement (BPI)
  • Ensure continuous improvement within the SSC and work closely with SSC managers
  • Analyze the differences, propose, initiate, lead and drive any process improvements: defining, supervising and leading the project plan and roll-out of necessary initiatives
  • Organize and lead trainings for accounting and/or Treasury teams relating to process changes and improvements
  • Manage and organize the relationship and the communication with IT department
  • Liaise with Group and Division project teams
  • Be in charge of group projects implementation within the SSC
  • Manage impacts of local projects on the SSC
  • Be in charge of SOPs, KPIs and SLAs update


 Business Process improvement

  • Be actively involved in accounting projects to ensure continuous improvement:
    • Define with managers the planning for projects implementation within the SSC
    • Prepare action plans to be reviewed with the Director - BPI
    • Follow the budget allocated to accounting projects
    • Estimate the workload for each accountant in collaboration with managers and chief accountant
    • Prepare status meetings and other committees related to accounting projects
  • Responsible for project communication within the SSC
  • Responsible for User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
  • Ensure project implementation follow-up
  • Manage the relationship with IT department: planning organization, resources, budget, communication
  • Ensure that appropriate accounting standards are applied
  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) before submitting to Director - BPI for validation
  • If applicable, be in contact with external consultants that could participate to projects implementation in the SSC
  • KPIs management
  • Monitor with other managers Group KPIs and propose action plans
  • Produce SSC KPIs and liaise with managers to define/ review action plans
  • Interpret, explain and drive performance for assigned projects
  • Facilitate ad-hoc analyses and insights on specific project issues


 Accounting internal control

  • Make sure that internal control rules are applied in projects
  • Ensure legal requirements respect and service quality


 IT management

  • Supervise the proper functioning of SSC IT systems and the master databases maintenance
  • Supervise any SSC IT related issue and coordinate with the Group IT Department for resolution
  • Supervise IT needs and IT initiatives provided by SSC operations and coordinate, with the Group IT Department, solution prioritization and implementation (business needs, testing)



  • BA / BS degree required, preferably in Accounting or computer science, engineering, Finance
  • 3-5 Years of experience supporting Business Improvement Initiatives and Project Management
  • Proficiency in Finance & Accounting, IT Project Management
  • Managerial experience
  • Experience in shared service center desirable
  • Experience in a multinational company desirable
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (incl. process design, lean, 6 sigma)
  • Good knowledge of accounting rules, standards and regulations
  • Good knowledge of accounting processes and internal control principles
  • Respects deadlines and manages priorities
  • Effective communication - comfortable in presenting and explaining results to several counterparts (CFOs, Chief accountant)
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Ability to manipulate a large amount of data
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced work environment
  • Consumer products company background preferred
  • Special projects as required
  • Travel to New Jersey and Montreal, Canada is required (Approx. 5%)



  • Strong Knowledge of ERP (SAP)
  • Project Management tools & methodology

  • Solutions & Technology knowledge (Automation, PowerBI, Readsoft)
  • Change Management
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Mastering)
