Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning Analyst

This role will be based in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL. You will report to the Assistant Vice President, Digital Analytics

A great opportunity to join a fast-growing team for a highly passionate, data obsessed individual that will manage SalonCentric’s customer Advanced Analytics function. As the advanced analytics manager, you will be responsible for creating approaches for solving complex business problems. You will be collaborating with internal partners and agency vendors to develop machine learning models and analytics techniques to help SalonCentric understand and target the right customer with the right message at the right time. As our Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will work closely with the customer experience team, digital marketing team and the promotional team to ensure decisions are profitable and drive engagement.

What You’ll Do:

Strategy & Planning: 
Envision and executing advanced analytic approach for solving complex business problems
Program Management:
  • Responsible for developing analysis, and utilizing statistical and programming skills to collect, analyze and interpret customer engagement and transactional datasets
  • Work with the customer experience and digital marketing teams providing insight and prescriptive recommendations
  • Partnering with business & technology teams to develop and design ML models
  • Develop AI/ML models and mentor and coach the analytics team to manage and execute in the future

Collaboration and Influence:
  • Work closely with business SME and data analyst to define approach and influence change through a data insights first approach  
  • Working closely with our partner data science team to ensure the approach is
Reporting:
  • Document methodologies for metrics in a clear and detailed manner
  • Create advanced analytics data automations and reporting  
  • Create, review, and maintain Data Models
  • The responsibilities listed on this position are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Things You’re Skilled In:
  • Hands on experience using Python, R, SQL, or other languages to build statistical models or analyze data
  • Fundamental knowledge of modeling, MMM, regression, and clustering techniques
  • Proficiency at EDA, ETL and data cleaning
  • Proficient with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience with complex data models and systems
  • Experience managing teams and cross functional teams.
  • Background in B2B or performance marketing preferred (Agency experience a strong bonus) or experience in digital media analytics/planning/operations role
  • Technical expertise regarding database fundamentals (design, data models, advanced SQL writing and efficient querying),
  • Hands-on experience in quantitative data analysis and ability to understand/diagnose potential quality issues and anomalies.

Compensation:

This full time role, located in headquarters in Saint Petersburg, Florida, pays a total compensation package made up of base salary, annual bonus and annual profit share.

Base Salary: $95,000. Annual performance bonus target 15%. Annual profit share bonus target is one week of salary or $1,827. Total compensation before generous and diverse benefits is $111,077.
