Job Summary

This newly created role will support the Head of Integrated Brand Marketing in strategy, creation, execution and reporting of consumer activation programs for SkinCeuticals USA, with a key focus on digital initiatives. 

S/he will be an integral part of the brand marketing evolution focusing on increasing consumer awareness and share of voice within the digital universe.  With an emphasis on acquiring and activating luxury skincare buyers, s/he will create dynamic consumer touchpoints ensuring consistent brand messaging across all. S/he will liaise and be a key driver between product marketing, digital, media, integrated communications, the DMI as needed, and senior brand management to drive brand growth. 

Success will be clear and effective data-driven marketing plans that drive the acquisition and engagement of new consumers by creating immersive and personalized consumer journeys, to ultimately establish long-term consumer relationships. Critical to his/her success is pushing out of the box thinking, journeys, and partnerships to find our consumer and communicate/influence them.

Consumer Activation KPIs: Net New Consumer growth, Consumer Lifetime Value, Brand Awareness & Discoverability, Media Performance, and driving O+O (online to offline) initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the planning, execution, and reporting of the major net new consumer acquisition brand initiative, collaborating closely with Digital, Media, and Brand Management. 
  • Branding/messaging, targeting, sample forecasting, and consumer journey optimizations.
  • Lead key brand animations primarily focused on awareness and net new consumer growth. 
  • Work closely with Global Marketing and external agencies to bring these ideas to life from brief to execution.
  • Partner closely with CMI, Media, and Brand Management - Lead the US level consumer studies/research yielding consumer insights to help inform and strengthen brand strategies and campaigns

Requirements:

  1. 4-6 years Marketing experience with proven results in digital marketing, Bachelors Degree, MBA appreciated but not required.
  2. Proven history of successful cross team collaboration; track record of effective working relationships across levels: brand leadership, peers, external agencies, creative, DMI
  3. Understanding of OMNI marketing consumer touchpoints with overweight into digital;  ability to understand and communicate on key KPIs  (ex. Media, DTC sampling, Search, Paid Social)
  4. Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker and Team player
  5. Knowledge, interest and skills with Brand marketing and CRM, particularly as it relates to Consumer path to purchase, communications and consumer analytics.
  6. Ability to work autonomously yet also collaboratively lead and influence across multiple functions
  7. Drive to execute and deliver results in the short term while designing future vision and longer terms strategies.
  8. Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects per season
  9. Digitally and socially native, clear understanding of key digital platforms, curiosity and interest in rising platforms
  10. Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
  11. Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  12. Working knowledge of Beauty & Skincare competitive marketing and social activity, retailers, overall market, consumer trends
