Job Summary

L’Oreal Professional Products division is searching for someone to serve as the Platform, Content & Analytics Manager for its’ multi-brand digital education platform. In this role, they will become the platform expert and will also monitor the content closely to understand what is most impactful and how that can be incorporated into platform activations designed to drive enrollment and engagement. As a content analyst, they will play an integral role in driving reporting and analyses aimed at developing a deep understanding of subscriber behavior.  They will build and maintain data visualizations and synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights meaningful to the business. The expectation is that this individual will become an expert on Access by developing and disseminating user insights and analyses that support the business objectives of our participating brands.

Content and Analytics Manager Responsibilities (70%)

  • Leverage brand content collections to curate pathways to support ACCESS activations           
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop, support and analyze platform activations
  • Develop content creation recommendations to brands and education teams based on user data
  • Tracks platform performance and user experience
  • Perform pre & post activation analysis to help drive strategy and execution of future programs
  • Analyze Access user behavioral, demographic, segmentation and content usage data and transform it into meaningful insights
  • Create monthly reporting/scorecards for brands complete with data and insights
  • Develop an understanding of user content preferences across brands
  • Link insights to overall Access marketing and brand content strategies to deepen the relationship users have with the platform
  • Shares and implements know-how and best practices from internal and external sources of inspiration
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the local and global L’Oreal Professional Products Division
  • May be required to occasionally create Access-specific content to help drive platform enrollment, engagement and/or excitement


Platform Coordinator Responsibilities (30%):

  • Be the expert on the platform and work cross functionally with brand, education and digital IT to manage the successful integration and communication of platform updates
  • Provide training & support for brand and education teams on access platform
  • Support brands (as needed) in uploading of content
  • Routinely collect platform needs from US teams and communicate back to global platform manager
  • Liaise with France; field and fulfill requests for local information and support
  • Act as primary point of contact for ad hoc platform related requests internally from cross functional stakeholders


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will be an effective leader with strong Content Management, Business Intelligence, and Data skills with a proven track record of success in delivering business intelligence and digital initiatives.

  •  3-5+ years’ experience managing social communities and content creation. B2B experience a plus
  • Bachelors Degree 
  • Digital Business Knowledge and understanding of typical digital KPIs and data constructs
  • Awareness of latest digital trends, particularly in the area of e-learning
  • Solid IT/ Digital skills; knowledge of digital collaboration tools
  • Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and authoring tools for Access 
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, strategic thinker
  • Strong computer skills necessary (All Microsoft Office programs) with heavy focus on Powerpoint
  • SalesForce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI a plus
  • Knowledge of business and educational aspects of Salon industry

Strong presentation skills required and a particular aptitude for synthesizing complex material so that it is clear, meaningful and actionable to a variety of stakeholders.  Excellent teamwork skills required.  This person needs to be a facilitator and collaborator with ability to work in fast-paced environment.  Candidate should have the ability to work closely with a diverse group of individuals of various functional disciplines.  They must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
