Position Summary:

In CPD at L’Oréal, our finance professionals partner to drive profitable growth and ensure the integrity of financial planning & reporting through strategic leadership and proactive collaboration. As an integral member of the team, the Manager of Finance for Planning & Reporting is responsible for leading the monthly close, planning and reporting of budgets and trends, overseeing sales & profit target management, ensuring compliance of financial procedures, and proactively enacting controls to increase accuracy and drive efficiency.    

Position Accountabilities:

  • Lead business unit’s monthly close from end-to-end.  Includes all associated entries, analyses, reporting and communication with senior leadership to drive informed decisions.
  • Lead business unit’s annual forecast and planning for key lines within cost of goods and marketing expenses. Responsible for collaborating with business partners such as marketing, operations, and treasury.
  • Manage ongoing Sales & Profit targets and identify associated risks and opportunities. Develop recommendations and drive resolution within the organization. 
  • Collaborate with organization and finance partners to design best practices and new controls for weekly, monthly, annual processes


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in finance preferred
  • MBA/CPA a plus
  • Strong computer skills required (Excel a must, SAP a plus)
  • Significant analytical capability with demonstrated ability to develop insights and recommendations.
  • Superior teamwork, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
